Claude Models on Google Cloud (Anthropic managed) is now generally available, giving Google Cloud customers the full set of Claude Platform features through Google Cloud authentication and billing. It includes Claude Managed Agents (beta), Advisor strategy (beta), the MCP connector (beta), Fast Mode on Claude Opus 5.5, and the Claude Console.

Overview

Claude Models on Google Cloud (Anthropic managed) is now generally available. Google Cloud customers get the full set of Claude Platform features through Google Cloud authentication and billing, with Anthropic operating the service.

Claude remains available through the Google managed offering, where Google is the data processor. The Anthropic managed offering instead makes Anthropic the data processor, and in exchange new features and betas ship the same day they go live on the native Claude Platform. It follows the same model as the Claude Platform on AWS launched in May.

  • Google Cloud authentication and a single invoice

    Organizations running on Google Cloud don’t need a separate procurement path. Access runs through Google Cloud authentication, usage lands on a single Google Cloud invoice, and Claude usage draws down your existing Google Cloud commitment.

  • Day-zero access to betas

    With Anthropic managed, new features and betas ship the same day they go live on the native Claude Platform. Included at launch:

    • Agents — Claude Managed Agents (beta), code execution, computer use, agent skills, and Advisor strategy (beta)
    • Connecting to systems and knowledge — Files API, citations, web search and web fetch, and MCP connector (beta)
    • Cost and performance — prompt caching and batch processing

  • Fast Mode on Claude Opus 5.5

    Fast Mode on Claude Opus 5.5 is generally available on this offering. It delivers up to 2.5x faster output token generation for rapid iteration, live debugging, and interactive agents, priced at $8 input and $40 output per million tokens.

  • Claude Console

    Anthropic managed customers also get the Claude Console, Anthropic’s development environment for observing and managing agents. Write prompts, configure agents, run them on hosted environments, monitor usage and costs, and manage access and security per workspace.

  • Models

    Claude Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, and Haiku 5.5 are available, and new models ship as they launch.

  • Pick by data processor — With Anthropic managed, Anthropic is the data processor. If you need Google Cloud as the data processor, have strict regional data residency requirements, or want integrations like Model Armor or Agent Engine, the Google managed offering is the better fit.
  • US and Global endpoints only — These are the endpoints currently available; no timeline for other regions was given.
